How much does it cost to be listed?
Nothing. It's free to be listed in the climate therapist directory.

What if I already have a website?
Perfect!
Our goal is to send you more visitors so you can speak to your potential clients with your own website. This directory is simply a jumping off point to help clients find you.
But even if you don't have a website, that's okay too!
You'll be able to provide your email, phone number, and more so potential clients can easily reach you. You can even include a link to your calendar so clients can instantly schedule a session with you - all online and without you having to lift a finger.
What happens after I apply?
We'll review your application and verify your licensing credentials. This process can take a few days.
Doing this ensures everyone listed is a legitimate, licensed mental health practitioner that abides by a code of ethics. This process also provides assurances for those in climate distress and seeking help.
Do I need to do anything if I'm added to the directory?
Nope! Everything will be handled for you.
However, we may occasionally contact you to ensure your license is still in good standing, or if we add functionality that needs your input.
Will I be able to update my profile?
Absolutely! After all, it's your profile.
To make an update to your profile, just email us with your changes and we'll take care of it for you.
Note: if you already have a profile you'd like updated, please email support@climatetherapist.com with your desired changes.
How will my profile be promoted?
In order to get the word out about climate-aware therapy (and your practice), we rely on these core strategies:
- Organic Search (SEO). When people search for "climate therapist", "climate anxiety", and similar terms this site shows up.
- Earned Links. These are unpaid links from other climate related websites, press and news articles, or social media mentions.
- Word of Mouth. The oldest (and most effective) form of marketing. If people feel this site is a genuinely helpful resource, they'll tell a friend.
All of these strategies rely on one simple thing: a high quality user experience.
This means that while the directory quick loading, easy to use, and genuinely helpful, it also needs to provide a frictionless, low-stress, and delightful experience while using it. That is our goal.
How will my information be used?
In short, it won't.
Beyond providing your public profile and occasionally contacting you for profile related matters (verification, accuracy, new functionality, etc.), your information won't be used. And it will never be sold or shared with anyone. Period.
The intent of the site is to be a beneficial service that helps those in climate distress easily find help.
Who runs the site?
The site is built, maintained, and financially supported by Sprigli. This allows us to provide all of the content for free and help pay for the servers and maintenance that keeps the site running.
What if I no longer want to be listed?
We understand the needs of your practice can change over time.
If you find yourself completely booked and no longer need new clients, we can mark your profile as "Not Accepting New Clients". Just shoot us an email to let us know.
If you'd like to be completely removed from the directory, we can do that too. Simply send us an email with your request. We'll remove your profile as soon as we can, typically within 24 hours. Please note that it may take longer for your profile to disappear from search engines, but we have no control over that.
